WRINKLE RELAXERS

+ What is it?

  1. A form of Botulinum Toxin that helps to relax facial muscles, reducing fine lines and wrinkles like crow’s feet, lines between the eyebrows, and forehead lines.

  2. Botox/Dysport can also improve excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis).

+ Types

  1. Botox

+ What to expect:

  1. It can take between 3-7 days for the effects to kick in and up to 10 days to achieve maximum results - if you still have movement after 10 days we’ll touch that up!

  2. Results last on average between 3-4 months

  3. Slight redness and small bumps may occur at the injections sites but resolve within 20-30 minutes

  4. Small bruising may occur around injection sites but should resolve within a few days

+ Post-Care

  1. Refrain from strenuous exercising for 24 hours post treatment

  2. No yoga or pilates for 24 hours post treatment

  3. Don’t book a facial or massage within 24 hours

FAT REDUCER

+ What is it?

  1. An injectable form of deoxycholic acid, a naturally occurring enzyme that aids in the breakdown and absorption of fat cells, specifically designed to treat submental fullness AKA double chin.
  2. Kybella works gradually and can take on average 3-6 treatments spaced 4 weeks apart to achieve desired results.

+ What to expect:

  1. Swelling, mild tenderness, and fullness for up to 1 week post treatment

  2. Numbness or tingling sensation to area for up to 1 month post treatment

  3. Small bruising may occur around injection sites

+ Post-Care:

  1. Apply ice to area to help with swelling and tenderness

  2. Take Ibuprofen or Tylenol as directed to minimize discomfort

  3. Avoid strenuous activity or exercise for at least 24 hours

LIQUID LIFTERS

+ What is it?

  1. AKA dermal fillers, made out of hyaluronic acid, a naturally occuring substance that provides immediate lifting, contouring, plumping and smoothing.
  2. Results are immediate and last up to 2 years.

+ Types:

  1. Juvederm Voluma

  2. Restylane Lyft

  3. RHA Collection

  4. Versa

+ What to expect:

  1. Slight bruising to injection sites can happen and subside within 5-7 days.

  2. Mild swelling which subsides within a few hours.

  3. Slight tenderness to injection sites which resolve within 24 hours.

+ Post Care:

  1. Avoid facials for up to 48 hours post treatment

  2. Refrain from strenuous exercise for up to 24 hours

LIP PLUMPERS

+ What is it?

  1. AKA dermal fillers. A form of hyaluronic acid, a naturally occuring substance that provides immediate plumping, smoothing and definition to lips.
  2. Results are immediate and last on average from 6-12 months.

+ Types:

  1. Juvederm Volbella

  2. Juvederm Ultra

  3. Juvederm Ultra Plus

  4. Restylane Refyne

  5. Restylane Defyne

  6. RHA Collection

  7. Versa

+ What to expect:

  1. Swelling is expected and typically subsides within 24-48 hours.

  2. Lips are vascular (that’s why they’re so pink!) so expect some bruising. Bruising typically subsides within 5-6 days.

  3. Slight tenderness to the lips is normal and resolves within 24-48 hours

  4. Small lumps and bumps may occur- filler is moldable which can create small bumps after injection. But no need to worry- we advise to massage these out for a couple of days and those pesky lumps should be gone.

+ Post Care:

  1. Ice on and off for the first 24 hours to help minimize swelling and bruising

  2. Avoid smoking for first 24 hours

  3. Refrain from strenuous exercise for first 24 hours

SCULPTRA

+ What is it?

  1. Sculptra is poly-L-lactic acid designed to stimulate collagen production in areas with a loss of natural volume.
  2. Expect gradual volumization over several months as the natural production of collagen is produced.
  3. For optimal results we recommend a series of 2-4 treatments spaced 6 weeks apart. Results last up to 2 years.

+ What to expect:

  1. Swelling that should subside within 24-48 hours.

  2. Slight bruising to injection sites which typically resolve within 5-7 days.

  3. Fullness sensation to areas of injection that subside within 24 hours

+ Post Care:

  1. Remember the “Rule of 5”: massage the area of treatment 5 times per day, for 5 minutes each time, for 5 days

  2. Ice on and off for the first 24 hours to help minimize swelling and bruising

  3. Refrain from strenuous exercise for first 24 hours

HAND REJUVENATION

+ What is it?

  1. Radiesse, made of Calcium Hydroxyapatite (CaHA), involves tiny microspheres that work to improve overall skin texture and replace volume loss to hands.
  2. Results last up to 1 year.

+ What to expect:

  2. Minor bruising to injection sites that should resolve within 5-7 days.
