PRE - TREATMENT TIPS!

Before your appointment, follow these helpful tips to ensure you have
the most comfortable & relaxing experience possible!


Don't be late for your appointment!

  1. Please arrive 10 minutes before your appointment. All electrolysis appointments are based on time. If you are more than 10 minutes late we reserve the right to reschedule the appointment and charge for the missed appointment. This is out of respect to our clients time and schedules.
  1. We do offer text and email confirmations for client convenience. However, the client is utimately responsible for the appointment, whether or not the client receives a confirmation.

If you choose, you can apply topical numbing cream at least 45mins before treatment.

Make sure the hair is at least 1/16 of an inch in length so that it can be treated.

  1. If the hair is too short it might not be able to be treated

Take Tyenol or Ibuprofun up to
1 hour before your appointment!

Avoid retinol and facials at least 48 hrs before treatment.


Avoid caffeine before treatment!

  1. It can make any treatment more sensitive!

AFTER TREATMENT TIPS!

After your appointment, be sure to follow these tips and tricks to ensure a speedy and comfortable recovery!


Drink lots of water and stay hydrated!


Ice on and off for the first 24 hours to help minimize swelling and bruising!


Moisturize! Moisturize! Moisturize!


Avoid smoking for the first 24 hours after treatment!


Use a gentle cleanser on the treated area for at least 24 hours after treatment!


Avoid excessive sweating! Sweat can cause bacteria to enter the open follicles, which may cause a minor infection.

  1. Exercise prior to your appointment instead of afterwards!

Do not touch or scratch the treated area!

  1. Bacteria can be transferred easily to the treated area, which can cause breakouts!

Avoid perfume and alcohol-based products, these will dry out your skin!

  1. If needed, wipe the treated area with witch hazel.

If your skin is still irritated you can apply a Hydrocortisone cream and alchohol free witch hazel.*

  1. It is anti-inflammatory and will reduce redness, swelling, and blemishes!
  2. Cortisone, Cortaid, anything with 1% hydrocortisone or hydrocortisone acetate

Avoid the sun for at least 24-48 hours after your treatment to avoid brown pigment spots!

  1. Your skin produces pigment to defend against harmful UV rays, this can result in hyperpigmentation.
  2. Always. Wear. Sunscreen!

Do not wear make-up over the treated area for at least 24 hours after treatment!
